Follow these four steps to go from install to accurate profit tracking for every order.
Install ProfitIQ from the Shopify App Store
Find ProfitIQ in the App Store
Search for "ProfitIQ" in the Shopify App Store or use the link in your dashboard invitation email. You'll land on the ProfitIQ listing page.
Click "Add app"
Shopify will show you a list of permissions ProfitIQ requests: read orders, products, shipping, and customers. These are read-only — ProfitIQ never writes to your store data.
Approve & redirect
Click "Install app" and you'll be redirected back to ProfitIQ. Your store is now connected via OAuth 2.0. No API key entry required.
Initial sync runs automatically
ProfitIQ will immediately begin syncing your recent orders and products (up to the past 60 days). For most stores this completes in under 60 seconds. You'll see orders populate in real time.
